  Blackcurrant picking
 
     
  Blackcurrant picking begins during the first fortnight of July, the precise date being determined by the level of sugar to be found in the berries and their correct phenolic maturity.

Once the blackcurrants are picked, they are immediately taken to the place where they are to be transformed or stored; each plot is identified by the producer’s name and the variety of blackcurrant picked: traceability begins with the life-cycle of the bush and continues until it reaches the customer.

Our blackcurrant fields are worked in accordance with “agriculture raisonnée” (logical farming) methods and here the environmental side takes on its full importance.
